VIRTUAL PROTOTYPING FOOTAGE
virtual vs. REAL
This outfit (size 38) is composed of two garments: a top and a pair of black trousers both created with a 3D prototyping software to avoid producing any fabric waste.
On the left, the virtual garments created by 3D prototyping. On the right, the real outcomes once both garments got sewn.

Distinctive characteristic: This pair of black trousers is a masterpiece of the first specimen collection. In addition to being qualified as "zero waste", this pattern is also modular. It means that a few sewing modifications can turn it into a dress. Then by shortening the length of the two biggest elements, it can also turn into a pair of short pants or a top. In this case, you can notice that the shapes initially created for flat pockets can also be used as flared sleeves for the top. Traditionnal trousers side seams do not exist. They are actually replaced by middle front/back seams.
